PATH-List

Here's where you subscribe to (or unsubscribe from) PATH's unofficial mailing list. This list is provided to allow PATH's far-flung members to communicate easily with each other about the trail, maintenance, gear, and outdoor activities.

Here's How It Works

Once you subscribe, you may post messages to the list. Your messages will be delivered to all other subscribers automatically. Similarly, you will receive all the messages posted by other members.

There are two ways to sign up for the list.

1. By using the form below.
2. Or by sending an email message to path-list-request@path-at.org with the word "subscribe" in the body of the message.

When you subscribe, you will receive a welcome message that contains additional information about how to post messages to the list.

Before you sign on, note these ground rules.

1. This is an unofficial medium. Opinions expressed on the list are those of the posters themselves and are not necessarily those of PATH or the list owner.
2. Discussion on the list should be limited to topics related to PATH's activities such as trail maintenance, equipment, hiking, camping. Posters who stray from appropriate topics may be asked to continue their discussion in private.
3. Advertising and spam are not permitted on the list.
4. Please send text messages only to the list. Do not attach files or photos to your messages. Many list members have e-mail services that reject these attachments. If you have photos to share with other list members, see the PATH members photo album.
5. Participants who post to this list grant rights to the list owner to include their posts in a searchable archive and grant permission to use the posts as part of a complete list archive in other mediums. Participants may compile a personal archive of all posts made to this list, but are not permitted to distribute, publish or make available to others such archived information without the prior express written consent the list owner.

I'm not getting any messages. What happened?

The mail list software automatically cancels subscriptions for e-mail addresses that consistently bounce messages back. If you mailbox is full and won't accept mail from the list, you may be unsubscribed. To get back on the list, use the form below to sign up again.

To change your e-mail address

If you need to change the e-mail address at which you receive PATH-List messages, simply unsubscribe your old address and subscribe again with your new address.
