View of the Tilson Farmstead
The recently (Nov-2009) purchased ''Tilson
Farmstead'', is approximately 238 acres, and rest on the North slope of
Walker Mountain, on the Smyth/Bland, Virginia County lines. The property
has historic features dating to the early 1800's... An Antebellum Turnpike
crosses over Walker Mountain thru Tilson Gap.... The Tilson Family Cemetery....
and Old Stone Walls.
